A new app for Android phones will allow you to keep your Ten Most Wanted prayer list on your phone and help you pray for them (now updated to version 1.1)

Screen shot from Ten Most Wanted Android appDeveloped by Larry Root, president of SimVentions, Inc., a component solutions company in Fredericksburg, Virgina, the Ten Most Wanted app gives you space for naming ten lost men and five disciplemakers (“laborers”) and links you to their contact info already on your phone.  Under a “Prayers” tab, the app offers three guides for praying for salvation: Scripture prayers, Jesus’ “I Am” statements, and The Six Questions of evangelism. There are also three guides for praying for Christian disciplemakers: Praying for Laborers, Scripture Prayers for Laborers, and Praying for Evangelistic Effectiveness.

You can set up notifications to remind you to pray for your list, and in the About dialog box, there’s a copy of CBMC’s mission, vision, and core values. In the updated version currently available, you will be able to set your notification time, send prayer or praise text message alerts, and display the date a name was put on your list.

Find the app in the Android Market and be sure to give us your comments there for the developer.  We are planning a similar app for Blackberry users.  If you other ideas for CBMC tools, leave a comment on our Facebook page.
