Below is a script of Mr. Shin message.

I only have 5 minutes, so I want speak on “Why CBMC International and CBMC of Korea has to build CBMC-I Leadership Training Center in Korea?”

God authorized the Pharisees to kick the disciples and early Christians out of Jerusalem to extend salvation to all Gentiles. And God did not allow them go east but to the west. So the Gospel went to Minor-Asia, Rome, and Europe, then across the Atlantic Ocean to America, and then across Pacific Ocean. The Gospel arrived on the east coast of Asian continent mostly lead by American missionaries. Up to this point, the evangelical movement was carried out by missionaries.

Korea received the Good News from U.S. missionaries. God had planned something special for Korea. After 2nd World War, liberation of the nation was made then Korean War started and lasted 3 years. Korea became the world poorest nation in the world. Because of the war against the communists, Korea became totally separated from Chinese influence.

To such a poor and thirsty nation, U.S. missionaries poured out Good News, education expanded, democracy succeeded, technology developed. All of these miracles assisted by U.S.A. Korea owes so many things to U.S.A. Even CBMC was brought to Korea by U.S. CBMC member Cecil R. Hill.

8th CBMC world convention in Korea was originally planned to be placed in Beijing, but due to Chinese government refusal, K-CBMC was asked to host it at the end of 2004. K-CBMC accepted, trusting God, but had only 11 months for preparation. Extensive prayers were carried out through out nation. God responded to nationwide prayers. 4000 men from 63 nations attended.

Now, God has inspired K-CBMC through prayers that:

(A) From the east coast of the Asian continent to Jerusalem, missionaries cannot spread Gospel anymore. It can only be done by businessmen. So CBMC undertakes the evangelical mission unto Jerusalem, the last sector. CBMC has two major missions: marketplace ministry plus evangelical ministry.

(B) To conduct evangelical mission successfully, CBMC must build training center in Korea for two main purposes:

• Train CBMCers on evangelical mission
• Train converted local people to become mission minded business entrepreneurs, so they can change their nation.

Then why Korea?

(A) Korea is in Asia. We know Asians better than anybody else politically, economically. Free and strong church support is possible in Korea.

(B) 60 years economic, religious miracles are the living model to those poor Asian/African nations.

(C) Korea owes so many things to the free world, especially to the U.S.A. We want repay what we owe to other poor nations. We are prepared to take a heavy burden to train Asian/African nations. We want CBMC of U.S.A. to support Korean CBMC on this leadership center construction and operation, not only financing but also prayers, know-how etc. whatever you can.

By doing so, U.S. will spread spiritual leadership over the world. Finally I am sincerely asking all of you to attend 9th CBMC world convention at Singapore to commit our readiness to carry out our Great Commission in this last sector under the banner of one CBMC throughout the world. Thank you.
