How CBMC is Responding to COVID-19

We are living in unprecedented times. Reports from around the globe are raising more and more awareness of the potentially fatal disease COVID-19. As a result, CBMC is committed to do all we can to help stop the spread and keep everyone safe.

We are following closely national guidelines pertaining to group events in the United States. Our National Support Center in Chattanooga remains open with limited staff 2 days a week and other employees working remotely. Local CBMC leaders and volunteers are striving to slow the spread through restrictions on public gatherings. Teams are moving to virtual platforms for their meetings. Large events are being cancelled or postponed.

While we are concerned for the health and safely of our fellow man, we also seek to meet their spiritual needs during this time of crisis. Around the nation, CBMC staff and volunteers are working hard to provide encouragement and support to business and professional men wherever possible.

The mission of CBMC continues steady and sure through this crisis. Your support is still vital in this season.

Our President, Bill McAvinney recently called for a time of prayer (read his letter here). We ask that you pray with us for the teams of CBMC men around the nation and the spiritual lives of those seeking. Please join us in praying for:

  • Protection from the virus for all.
  • Health and safety for all of our staff in the national offices, as well as staff and volunteers around the nation.
  • Business and professional men and their families who have been impacted by the virus.
  • That many men in the marketplace will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus as their Lord and Savior

Thank you for your prayers. We hope you will be encouraged by this video from Pastor Phillip DeCourcy from Kindred Community Church and Know the Truth Teaching Ministry.

May God bless you during the coming days and weeks. “For the righteous will never be moved, he will be remembered forever. He is not afraid of bad news, his heart is firm trusting in the Lord.” Psalm 112:6-7
